Video sessions

Sessions from your room

Video sessions are the same 50 minutes with the same clinician, for people who are in Florida during the session. Our clinicians are licensed in Florida, and that is where we can see you.

For many students and people on long shifts, a session from home means one less bus or one less parking lot.

  • Licensed in Florida

  • A private place and a steady connection

  • Headphones help

  • What you need

A phone, tablet or laptop, a steady connection and a room where you can talk. Your clinician sends a link before the session. If the connection drops, your clinician calls you.

  • Where you can be

In Florida, for the whole session. If you are in another state, we cannot see you by video. We will help you find someone licensed where you are.

  • What it is not

It is not for emergencies. If you may be in danger, call or text 988, or call 911.

  • How it is paid

The same way as in-person sessions: through your insurance, or you pay yourself with a written estimate first.

    How fees work

Before your first video session

Can I do some sessions in person and some by video?

Yes. Tell your clinician, and we will plan around your week.

What if I am home in another state for a few weeks?

Our clinicians are licensed in Florida, so we cannot see you by video while you are outside it. We will pause your sessions, or help you find someone where you will be.

Do I need to be on camera?

Yes, for video sessions. If you would rather talk by phone, ask your clinician.

Start with a message

Tell us you would like video sessions. Our clinicians are licensed in Florida, so tell us where you will be.
