Group therapy
A small group, a clinician, one term
Groups are for adults who would like to hear how others are getting through the same stretch of life, and who want to practice saying things out loud. A clinician leads each group and keeps it steady.
Groups meet weekly for a term, on weekday evenings. Which groups are meeting changes from term to term, so ask us what is running now.
Led by a licensed clinician
Weekday evenings
English, with Spanish when a leader speaks it

What a group is like
Members sit in a circle. The leader opens with a short check-in and keeps time. You decide how much to share, and listening counts.
What it is not
It is not a class and nobody is graded. It is not a substitute for individual therapy, and it is not crisis care: if you may be in danger, call or text 988.
Privacy in the group
Members agree to keep what they hear private. Your clinician explains what is confidential and where the limits are before you join.
How it is paid
Group sessions are billed one at a time. Some plans cover group therapy and some do not, so we check before you join.
How fees work
Before you join
Do I have to talk?
No. Some people only listen for the first weeks.
Can I do a group and individual therapy?
Yes. Many people do. Your individual clinician and the group leader may be different people.
How do I join?
Write to us and say you are interested in a group. A clinician talks with you first to see whether it fits.
Ask what is meeting this term
Write to us and we will tell you which groups are running and when.
